FULL SEASON PROTECTION

Our certified pest control technicians will start with a full site inspection. We will identify potential breeding sites for pests such as mosquitoes, black flies and ticks. We will identify resting and hiding spots for these insects and formulate a strategy for an integrated pest management plan that will keep you pest free for the season. Mosquitoes in particular will breed multiple times per year, so it is important to have a strategy in place to manage these pests both in the larva stage as well as the adult biting/breeding stages throughout the warmer months.

A typical FULL SEASON PLAN would include three to four sprays for black flies and spring ticks starting in mid May. Treatment continues approximately every four to six weeks throughout the season into the fall to mitigate the mosquito breeding population, culminating with a fall tick spray. This would be combined with a larvicide program if it is determined that your property is a good candidate. There are other tick and mosquito mitigating practices which can be discussed during our initial site visit as well.

Based on the flying nature of mosquitoes, it can be extremely helpful if the neighbouring properties participate in a pest management program as well. If three or more adjoining properties participate in either a FULL SEASON PROTECTION PLAN or a PAY AS YOU GO PLAN, all participants will receive a 15% discount on each treatment.
